LOL It is never the plan but when you meet those babies you can't help but fall in love. When I see a baby bird I run the other way LOL

That baby is truly beautiful! I would be head over heels also.
Hope it all works out for you and the baby!

Would they let you take this bird home on Monday, if that is the case for you? I know you have bird experience, but I'm sure the average Joe that walks in that store does not, and I'm a little concerned that they are selling a bird this young. I bought a three month old mini, and was 'promised' that it was weaned. But just in case she 'regressed', I was given a one pound bag of formula to take with me. Well, three days later I noticed she was losing weight, even though I was giving her formula twice a day. Thank God my boyfriend had formula fed before, and was able to step in and show me how to do it properly. FOUR MONTHS later Bella was weaned. Of course I had the best intentions when I brought her home, but it was certainly a scary situation for a while, and now I am flat p***ed when I see salesman handing over babies to people like me who had never formula fed.

Bird Paradise will NOT realease an unweened bird. If you purchase it that young, you go in for visits until its on regular pellet based diet with fresh stuff mixed in. Our Buddy Don will be running back and forth for many months to come if this comes to be.
