Re: penguins
I do not think Penguins are allowed to be kept as pets but it is amazing in some little coastal towns here in Australia Penguins decide to live under steps and bushes and all over the place of people's homes and many just love having them. I know I would, but where I live no penguins albeit many just up the coast a bit. People take rugs and sit on the beach waiting for dusk when the Fairy Penguins waddle in from the sea and up the sand dunes to their nests to feed their babies and people are kept behind baracades but can watch will no ill effects to the little penguiins. I have been to see this and loved every minute of it. The main coastal town for this is Philip Island and a nightly event. I sat watching and thinking nah no Penguins coming out of the surf tonight but all of a sudden a couple and I said "oh well at least I got to see a couple" and within a few more minutes there were literally hundreds all walking like little Sentinels up out of the surf and up the sand dunes. Such an amazing sight.
