new addition to our home

last night be grought home a beautiful blue front amazon.
she was not wanted by her owners wife any more.
the husband was upset that he had to give her up.so he called us to see if we would give it a forever home.
we see this type of thing all the time.
she's 3 years old, hasnt been out of the cage for awhile, she needs a bath real bad.
once she's out of the cage she's a real lover..she jibber jabbers and says a few words.
when it warms up a little today she will get her bath.
when she's all cleaned up i will get photos of her so i can share our new friend with everyone. thanks donna

the husband had gotten married i guess resent and the new brid did not like the bird.she was afraid of it.so the bird was not allowed out of the cage.the husband didnt want the bird just to be locked up, which is not fair for the bird...so he want the bird to go where it would get lots of love and to be able to come out of its cage.....
the bird is not a biter and is fairly friendly, she had a bath yesturday and looks alittle better..she's not a feather picker, as far as the lady being afraid there is nothing to be afraid about with this bird that i have seen.....
im setting up a vet check to make sure she's healthy.......which im sure she is. but you can never tell till its to late... donna

The bird sounds like she was pretty badley neglected and lucky to have found a new mommy. World works in mysterious ways.
