Even On the Highway
My husband and I were on our way back today from Ohio and we happend to pass a car that had an African Grey sitting in the back seat. We pulled up beside them and Fred my CAG was sitting on my shoulder and they waved and smiled and give us a big thumbs up. Now how cool is that??

Re: Even On the Highway
Well, if it was Fred and the other CAG and they saw each other then they waved and smiled at each other and then gave everyone a thumbs up, then that's reallllllly coooool. 8) I'm surprised that after they saw each other, they even thought about you and the other driver. Almost sounds like they thought about dating. After all, you're only the chauffeur. ----------Dave

Re: Even On the Highway/ traveling with parrots
How neat! I drive alone so haven't been able to have any of my fids out when I drive. Would love to start taking Dutch, the U2 with me when I go places, but want to try to get him into a harness so when I take him out of his carrier he will be safe.l
I've tried other birds and never have been successful. He loves to be scritched but wasn't very excited about having a harness put on him. I can't leave it around for him to check out because he'll tear it up. Does anyone have any ideas for how to do this in the least traumatic manner possible? |
