Avatar and signature

How is a member able to post pictures in their signature? I thought you had to be a supporter of the site..but it lists different amounts. How much do you need to donate to be able to do this? I can't seem to figure this out.

Hi. If I can hijack this thread a little. I tried to donate, and I wanted to donate a certain amount, so I chose that amount. But when I got to Paypal, it added $8 in shipping. And I couldn't figure out how to change that. Anyone know?

I only saw the one for $9 so thats what I did & I was able to do the pics. So I guess as long as your a supporter you can. Crystal

You need to use the link in your User CP for Paid Subscriptions. The green Donate link in the tool bar is for extra donations.

Paid subscriptions give you extra perks, such as your own personal avatar, and I'm not entirely sure what else. Donations, as Tiki has said, are just extra donations, although it is knew so I'm not entirely sure how it works.

As far as signature images, please review the links within my own signature.

Awww..thanks. I donated under "donate" instead of where I should have. That answers that. Oh well..maybe I will try again some day. :-) (Money is kinda tight right now..and I did donate.) :-)

Also, when I donated, I was charged $8 for a shipping fee. I couldn't find a way around it.

Yep, donating seems to be the only way you can get an avatar around here. So I will be donating soon of course! But signatures I think are fine, see I have mine up now! Yay!
