Favorite Toys?

What is your birds favorite toy (that's not originally intended for birds)?

Bindy loves
1. rolling marbles around on the floor and flying after them. Also rolling marbles around in a big bowl.

2. throwing little Glad 4 oz. tupperware containers filled with little buttons or something that makes noise.

I'm looking for other things that may interest her and keep her as occupied as her two favorites above!

she doesn't like the typical wood toys, shredding things, bells, or any bird toy I ever buy her!

Willow likes basically anything i have!! I bought him some dice which he likes but they r kinda hard for him to hold. He loves shredding paper!! I also tried giving him straws and i bought him a toothbrush (but he hasn't gotten it yet so i dont kno if he will lik it...most likely though cause he likes everything)(i got these ideas from another thread...hehe). He also likes to play with the little lego guys but i dont give these to him as he can chew them apart now. If i think any more, i'll post again!!

Stacey:

Sounds to me like Bindy would like a soda bottle rattle. Simply empty a soda bottle or water bottle and rinse clean. All some bead, beans, sequins, marbles, macaroni, anything that will sparkle or rattle. Simply glue the lid back on with white craft glue and just add the bird. I have some that I strung up for my macaws and they just love them. You could also use empty medicine bottles.

One of the most popular "toys" around here is a paper lunch bag filled with things like cut up straws, dried pasta, avicakes, or any sort of safe toy or treat. Then twist the top together and let them tear it up. It doesn't last long, but mine really enjoy ripping it to shreds. :D

My suns love boxes. Since I do a lot of shipping I get the free usps boxes for shipping (shhhh don't tell them). Add a few things that rattle and simply fold the tops together and its party time. They just squeal with delight trying to get the box open.

I guess her favorite non bird toy would have to be the remote. I try to get it away before she chew buttons off.. but sometimes I am too late :P

My two birds love to shred adding machine tape. I use metal chains and a pear hook to hang a roll up in each of their cages. I buy the rolls in bulk at Costco. :D
