Romeo is a brat!

The other day I was holding Romeo & was chewing on some gum. He was mad cause he thought I had food in my mouth I guess. Well, after many failed attempts to get the gum outta my mouth, he got so mad he chomped my lip. Put a nice little mark in it too. It didn't go all the way through but there is marks on both sides of my lip. Needless to say I spit the gum out real fast. Then later the fids & I was eating spagetti (spelled wrong I'm sure) Well, Romeo was eating with me & I only turned my head for a second & when I looked back, he was standing in the middle of my plate helping himself. I told him to get off my food, which he did what I said but he then walked all over my white (now red) sweater. I guess thats what I get for wearing a white sweater while eating with the fids. The hubby was laughing cause Romeo was just standing there with a noddle hangin outta his mouth like "what did I do?". I luv the little brats though. Crystal

very funny.... but you know, crystal, you should know better "whatever you think is yours, is mine" also applies to food.
i've experienced the same thing - valo ran through my salad multiple times, almost like taking a bath he also loves to clean his beak on my shirts - well, carrots and white shirts don't go well together on these missions... i now have a bunch of shirts with nice little red beak marks in them

I have learned never give Bonita rasin's while she is on your shoulder. She loves to stick them in your hair after she has chewed them all up. THey stick real well. LOL I think they like to rub anything on us that has color & stains. They are such a blast to have around though. Crystal

BEE: Yes I should know better. LOL It was cute. I just hope the spagetti comes out. LOL I wish I could of got a photo of him standing there with a noodle hangin outta his mouth. It was priceless. LOL

this is why my fids get their own chairs and plates at the kitchen table! tho zuppy hasnt quite worked out that not every plate is his lol poor little marley would never put a foot wrong hes just an angel lol cant say the same for the other two tho!

A severe macaw being a sneaky brat? NO! Say it aint so!

Miro is the MASTER of the 'innocent' look... He will snuggle close until you drop your guard, then pounce on your food... I can always tell when he is up to something because it gets quiet- All TOO quiet. One time, I had just served up a nice plate of blackened scallops, then left the room for a minute. He came off his stand (In the other room, mind you), walked to the kitchen, climbed up the table, and jumped right in to the plate of scallops.... Grrr...

LMAO! Yeah my brats feel perfectly free to help themselves to whatever I am eating and they also will walk right onto the plate if I don't watch them! You just can't get mad at them because they are so cute when they do it. Lucky I don't wear white shirts!
