Unfortunate..but is it????
Unfortunately due to the fact that the last breeder I was working with couldn't/wouldn't ship my Ekkie to a closer airport I had to back out of the deal. I'm currently without a vehicle and have no one to ask to drive me 1 1/2 hrs away to pick up a bird.
Fortunately with several days of searching I found another breeder and she is just the best. We've been on the phone daily and she even put me on speaker so I could talk to our new baby. Emerald ( Redsided Eclectus ) is 6 months old and already says a few words ( example... " Diamond, Diamond " her bare eyed cockatoos name ). He's just gorgeous but of course I'm biased...let me know what you think!  Mommy's little boy!  I'm ready for my close up!  Striking a pose for momma! I'm hustling around ( $$$$ wise ) to try to get him home for Christmas. Imagine that...a Christmas baby....woohooo! Michelle Last edited by WeLuvBirds; 12-01-2006 at 05:17 AM.
