I would suggest a Poicephalus. As far as I know, a tiel requires a cage with minimum 120 cm (48") in Sweden.

I would suggest poicephalus (meyers, brown heads, or maybe a red belly, not a senegal), tiels or caiques. NO PARROTLETS. IMHO, they're too skittish. Divot loves head scritches, but isn't snuggly.

Not a GCC! They're notorious Nippers! They can be sweet *especially as babies* but look out later! Not "snuggly" unless you like having your ear chewed on, that is. I adore mine, but they're both noisy & nippy. A riot though to watch all the antics they can get into!

I own two Caiques. They can be quite loud when they screech, but otherwise are pretty quiet. They have a different pitch, but I would say at their loudest they are as loud as my Green Cheek was, if not louder. Their whistles and 'happy sounds' are pretty quiet though. They also don't tend to be cuddly (there are individual variations, even with my two, one is much happier playing alone, the other happier playing with us, but neither are what I would describe as 'cuddly').

Not all pi's are "hands on".....my mini-macaw is more cuddly, and both of them can be loud. I'd say stick with the tiel.
