Naturally, I would vote for a cockatiel but I very fond of poicephalus and pionus as well. I don't think caiques are a particularly good choice as they are very active little birds and need a lot of room to play and run. I've not been around any caiques that are overly cuddly, either. Cockatiels are natural cuddlers once they are totally integrated into the family.

Thanks for your suggestions.

It will not be a caique since they can't get along with my other birds. Sad because I really like them.
I forgot that, the bird have to get along with other birds (amazon and budgie).

I've had cockatiels before and I really like them... but well I have to think about it, mabey I should get a amazon or a budgie so one of my birds Ihave now get a mate...

All I can really say about getting another bird is that it could be a real "hit or miss" type of thing as to whether or not they will get along with another species. They suggest to never house lovebirds or parrotlets with other birds, yet if you search for images you can see that some do get along with other birds... Same goes for lories. Heck, it's even possible to get a bird of the same species as another and the two don't get along!

My caique is nippy and very strong minded. I would rather handle any other bird in my house, cuz Ollie always bites me

I keep saying this and I will say it again. I LOVE my ekkie! He is a male SI. Small and a great joy to be around. If I had started with him I might not even have another bird.
