I'm getting Emerald from a very very nice lady named Kathy in Oklahoma. She's not the actual breeder. The breeder gives her babies that moms won't feed or eggs to incubate. She hand feeds them and loves them until they go to their forever homes. I'm getting Emerald for 595.00 plus shipping. She just got a 3 day old SI and 2 Redsided eggs to care for.

Just getting in on this post. I say - if you are happy with this hand feeder and her babies, definitely stick with her! That's a fabulous price. You have to remember that we are a retail store, plus we test all of our birds for Psittacosis, Beak & Feather and Polyomavirus PLUS they get their two Polyomavirus vaccinations. You'll appreciate the costs of the testing and the vaccinations after you take Emerald for his first vet visit.

Best of luck with the little guy. I guarantee that, before long, you'll be posting pictures of Emerald's new wife!
