I had a tiel that used to put his foot beside his beak and sing everytime I got on the phone. I guess he wanted in on the conversation. Other than that I can't think of anything either of them did with their feet.

Toby our B& G Macaw uses his feet alot when he eats. He usualy grabs the food from his food dish or my hand with his beak then automaticaly switches it to his right foot and eats a little at a time. He does this with almost everything he eats because he's beak is so big he needs his feet to hold it or else he would drop everything. He really likes to use his feet. I taught him to wave hi by tapping on his foot then saying hello and waVING MY HAND. Now every time I say Hello he waves even without me waving my hand. So cute. My pet Quaker Narley uses his feet with peanuts and other "big" foods but not with his seed. He also uses his foot to ring his bell toy all the time.
