I don't use many plastic beads bigger than pony beads with the tiels... they are just little birds..... and I have a large Folgers coffee can full of pony beads....that I already had prior of having the tiels....

Mainly what I order is....
shredables (woven palm/sea grass, fingertraps, mini crunch balls etc),
rope (sisal, cotton, seagrass and once in a blue moon poly rope),
mix of wooden items (small spools, knobs and mix shapes)and occasionally bags of small wood mixed beads,
Leather strips/string and shapes
paper bagels and tubes

Half of this stuff just ordered for the first time recently... once I found out what both of the tiels liked to play with and destroy...

I can cut and drill my own pine slates and planks or blocks out of untreated pine...

I but golf ball and baseball size wiffle balls, cat toy balls ( have found 5 different kinds that are safe to use with tiels), large childrens plastic jax (made good foot toy), old fasion clothes pins, craft sticks, tongue depressors and wooden icecream spoon/stick locally...... and can drill holes in the wooden items if I want....

just got the vitacritter dye in today so I can dye ordered rope and wooden items gotten local .colors.... and another package with mixed wooden pieces and undyed mixed small wooden beads...

One I get everything here and dyed/drilled... and start toy assembly... will be taking pics... of the toys and extra parts... I am looking forward to this. .. both making the toys... and watching the tiels destroy them...

Im loving the old fashion clothes pin thing too! I found them in the dollar store and the pack said NATURAL. SO we drilled holes in them and strung them up with pony beads from Wall Mart. Plastic straws are great also. I take a bunch and wrap them in one of those plastic tie locks. They have a ball! But with a 2 toos, a cag and an ekkie...I found they all love beads!

I'm an on and off Ebay buyer and seller, so if anyone needs help with Ebay let me know, I'm an expert by now. Also if you want a good auction sniper let me know ( I'll need your email address, pm'ed to me ), we'll both get a deal out of it ( I use it often ) I'm a frugal shopper. Below is a link to a guy that starts his auctions for bird toy parts very cheap and he has good feedback. He also combines s/h to save you $$$$.

I did the 15% off too. I ordered the jumbo beads and the letter beads. 200 beads total, cost $19.58 inc s&h thats less than $.10 a bead! Mine shipped out today so I cant wait. I went to BP yesterday and bought a bunch of blocks and string so Im ready!! Kings Cages never returned my call. So I sent an email and that went ignored as well. Maybe I should call and say Im opening a store and need 100 of the biggest Java trees. Bet they'll call me back then! What happened to customer service? With Birds Nest I got a nice email confirming the order saying they appreciate my order and will do everything to meet my expectations! Then I get another from the post office confirming my shipment so Im impressed already! Im happy I got to share it with someone already!!
