Unhappy It's so quiet

My Pita Baby is at the vets until probably Monday, while I move. I dropped him off, and went to were they keep the birds. There was a HUGE B&G McCaw, named Cosmo, and a dove named Dovey. Pitas cage is real nice and big, and I brought all his favorite treats.......after I said my goodbyes, and gave him kisses, I put him in his cage, and he promptly went and got a treat and started eating.....I think he'll be just fine. The girl said if he's eating, he's gonna be fine.

I MISS HIM!!!

Awww, that must be hard to be away for so long, especially knowing that Pita is in an unfamiliar place. Just think of the wonderful reunion you will have when you "rescue" Pita

Thing is, he seemed fine....LOL. I at least wanted him to squawk, or say good boy, or seem the littlest bit upset that mommy was leaving...lol....the girl also said that birds love coming to "Birdy Camp"......they keep a radio on for them, toys, he'll get baths, and fruit & vegies, & crackers......

Seriously, I feel really good that he's there. The best part is if, god forbid, something happens, his vet is right there.....and of course he has Cosmo to talk to...lol

Actually, now that I'm getting into packing & cleaning, it is easier without worrying if he's happy, fed, playing, etc etc. AND, I can use the auto oven cleaner...LOL I can see how this would affect a bird, it's been going for about an hour, and it stinks in here.

Thanx for the support

Pita will be fine, I'm sure... but it must be a little lonely without the handsome fella!

Best of luck to you during the move!
