I can't believe I bought the whole Thing!

Ok! I will try and make a long story short....
A friend of mine has been not doing so well, health wise... So he decided to cull his flock... He was trying to make a decision on which birds to give up.... So I told him I would take his Linnie's if that is what he decided.... He wanted to cut down on a whole species... so I said.... I would take them all... If he wanted .. well I didn't even get off the phone.... and he had made his choice.. He said he knew they would be taken care of very well with me and he would be honered... ... if I would take them... Well yesterday was the big day... I drove down to Ohio and picked them up... So they are officially my flock now

So much for a short story... Well do you want to see them?

Here they are:

Pair # 1 Green/Creamino male & Blue hen

Pair # 2 Slate male & Creamino hen

Pair # 3 Blue/Lutino male & Lutino/Blue hen

Pair # 4 Blue/Lutino male & olive hen

siblings of pair # 3 Lutino & Green un-sexed will have DNA in mail tomorrow

Sibling of pair # 2 Un-sexed will have DNA in mail tomorrow

Green Spare Male

Lutino Spare Male

So what do you all think?
Maybe I am nuts? maybe not!..
Obsessed? YES!
So this is what I have been up to...
What's new with you?...
Christmas Came early here!
Hugs, Denise

They're such pretty birds :-). Are you breeding them, or keeping them around as a flock of pretty aviary birds?

Yes, I will be breeding them... They have not been breed in over a year... the first pair, the female has quite a few feathers missing around the neck... from over preening from the male.. I am going to condition them, even though they do not need it, all of them are perfect. Then add the boxes... He (my friend) was such a great parront...
