Menengitis

Hi haven't been around for a little while due to family etc etc. Hope everyone is ok.

Have just had to take Worple to the vet as he has not been himself for the last day or two. He is very disorientated one minute then fine the next and has been falling off his perch a little. The vet says he has menengitis and has giving him some antibiotics and anti inflamatories and we are to go back on Monday for more.

He told us that this could possible kill Worple but he is not sure. It is very serious. If he lives he might be left with a disability.

Does anyone have any experience of this and the likely outcome. We are all very upset. He is a lovely bird and very much part of the family

Sorry I don't have any experience with this but am praying for your little one! Hope he gets better soon!
