Talking Harness?

I was wondering who uses the Feather Teather Bird Harness?
Im ordering some things from a website and the only kind of Harness they have is the Feather Tether and I dont want to go to another site and buy the Aviator right now and have to pay for the shipping on just it...

I am getting my baby sun conure in 1 week so, what size would work best for a Sun Conure??
I was thinking Petite but would that be to small??
Petite or Small??

Thanks!!!

I have the Feather Tether and I also have the Bird Diaper Flightsuit. In fact, I recently ordered up another Flightsuit for my Pionus. The Tether I have, I use for my Eclectus. The biggest downside to the Feather Tether is that the clips are relatively heavy. For my Ekkie, that's no problem. I wouldn't try it for my Pi though. Have you looked at the Flightsuit? You can order it on-line here http://www.bird-diaper.com/ . Or...... there is another tether out that I have heard people talk about and claim it is lighter weight... called the Aviator http://cgi.ebay.com/THE-AVIATOR-BIRD...QQcmdZViewItem

good luck with whatever you decide!

I have Feather Tethers for Bob and Ceilidh. Bob hates, hates, HATES his, and would rather die fighting than wear it. We'll see if Baby Mikey can wear it for awhile, someday.... Ceilidh accepts his, but isn't fond of all the buckles, bells and whistles, and picks at the hardware. I find them a pain to figure out, and a bigger pain (especially with Bob!!!!!) to put on the bird, and take off later.

Someday I'm getting an Aviator Harness--they supposedly have a lot less fuss and bother about getting them on and off a bird.

Flight Suits--I don't like them (I find them unattractive). Besides, for our big birds, they look too flimsy.

I am planning to get the Aviator later on but, right now the site I am ordering from only has the Feather Tether and I cant spend anymore money on buying from another place & then the Shipping...The Aviator is around $20-$25 plus the shipping charges while the Feather Tether is $9.95 and I can order other things that will also be with combined shipping from the same site!!
I think the Feather Tether will be ok for now...I just need something to get my birdie use to have a harness on him...I wont be able to take him outside for quite a few months cause the cold weather but, when I do training him before hand with it will make it MUCH easier!!
I guess I am going to buy the Petite Feather Tether Harness...
Thanks!!!
