Super Walmart Tropical nuts and dried fruits blend is like 4.99 for a pound, given as a treat/food topper very yummy and healthy for your bird. I use it and mine love it! I also use dried cranberries and raisins for treats.

Where does one find fruit and veggies that are not treated with Sulfur Dioxide? Also, does anyone know the ramifications of feeding fruit and veggies treated with it?

I checked at the supermarkets here and everything has SD!

You can invest in a dehydrator... I bought and Excel for about 100 bucks and I dry my own now. I pick up whatever's in season at the local organic market and dry away!!!!!!!!!!!!!
