dried veggies?

does anyone know if there are any dried veggies i can buy that would be nutritious for birds?my tiel sweetpea loves the dried veggies in his zupreem avian entrees, but refuses the fresh ones.he likes things that are crunchy! i know the dried isn't as nutritious, but i figured it's better than nothing!

Bird Paradise has an Ultimate Blend III for smaller birds including tiels. It has dried fruits and veggies in it! I get the Ultimate Blend I for my guys and it has over 50 ingredients in it including , dried peas, string beans, carrots, banana chips, apple..on and on! www.mybirdstore.com I htink the difference is in the pellets between Blend 1 II & III.

Yes Goldenfeast Gardenflora has three versions, small pulverized, medium and large (full size veggies). All their products are great. Fruit Pudding is very popular too. Bird Paradise sells Goldenfeast also.

You can put some water on them and reconstitiute and eventually I bet he'll accept fresh. That's how one of my birds started. When I added a couple drops of warm water she went crazy for it and no turning back lol (Goldenfeast Gardenflora the medium size.

Here's a brand made for humans: http://www.justtomatoes.com/ My cockatiels LOVE the berries. They might be available at a local natural-foods grocery, but I usually get mine at http://www.wranglersroost.com/ where they're frequently on sale.

P.S. The Just Tomatoes dried carrots are too hard for my tiels, and the Kaytee dried carrots for birds are better. But they LOVE the Just Tomatoes dried corn, peas, and tomatoes.

he's a big fan of dried peas, but he's not too wild about the fruits.i think they're not crunchy enough for him.if he happens to bite into one,he wipes his beak off like he's bitten into poison. does this stuff have any nutritional value?
