has anybody taken the cornell....

i would like to know if anybody has taken the HOME STUDY COURSE IN BIRD BIOLOGY by cornell univerisity? was it helpful and knowledgeable for all of us parrot owners? here is their website:

I have. It really has nothing to do about parrots by themselves. It deals with the biology of all birds. Migration patterns, species disburstion, etc. If you want to know how birds insides work or where they live etc this is a great class to take. I found it very usefull. I think it helps to further your knowledge.

You can't deal with alot of stuff unless you know the physical makeup of birds.

thanks!i was looking on the net and found two more but it is more of accredited courses. and also required more homework. it seemed more of a course for avian vets or people working in zoos. here is the website to one:www.northern.edu/tallmand this is a 4 credit course and the cost per cr is around $200 that is a total of around $800. for that price i'd rather go do apperintice type of work with an avian vet! and probably come away with more.
