She will LOVE the wet lettuce! Mine will literally dry themselves off after a bath on a towel i place ontop of their cages. The body surfing/hair surfing, etc is a displaced leaf bathing behavior, very unique to caiques, as that is their sole means of bathing in the wild, as they live high in the canopy of their natural habitat. Both mine have a 'soft material' fettish and more then once I have had to pry them off someone wearing polar fleece with the excuse of ... 'sorry- they just really like soft polarfleece!'
I think lots of people overlook caiques because of their small size- but what they lack in size they more then make up for in personality!
