what a crock, some people would be perfectly happy if no one could have any type of pet :( they just dont see the health and emotional benefits that pets have on their families. im MUCH more worried about getting diseases from other people, humans are gross but im not really worried about getting sick from an animal....i dont believe for one second that they are "worried about disease transmission", they just wanna restrict what kinds of animals people can keep. pretty soon, they are gonna move on to the next bird or animal, then the next, and so on, then its gonna spread to other states...

I thought we lived in a democrocy not a dictatorship. What is our govenment doing? Like they don't have better things to spend our tax money on. Welcome to the land of the free. Who's free us or the govenment?

It is for Nandays- they are trying to place them into the 'parakeet' box, which is how they banned quakers as well. The AFA posted a neutral letter that you can sign and send to the state representatives- I sent mine the other day and got notice that they got my letter and will bring it up in the meeting.
