BirdBoard Member Wishlist 2007 - Everyone inside...

Every year we try and knock down some new ideas, features people would like to see on the site and well its that time again to say your peice and we will try and get some of them for you all to enjoy and benefit from.

If you don't know what I mean here are some past features that were added to teh site... Live Chat, Photo Albums, Classifieds, Product Reviews, Birthday & Event Calendar, Member Map and etc.... Other things were more smilies, avatars and much more... So start thinking of features both large and small that you think would really benefit birdboard.

I wish the board would stop crashing. At least 4 times today I've gotten

' temporarily unavailable' as things I try to post end up in cyberspace, be it posts to the board or via PM. Been happening far too often lately.


would also like to see the Newsletter up and running again, tho I SO understand the ENORMOUS amount of work it entails....

Monthly contests could be fun, with the winner maybe getting a subcription (or extension) to the Bird Board Booster club....

that don't have a clue how to incorperate aonther spell check program with posts...

Shoutbox & Arcade. Kev I have VB on my other forum, I can get you links to all this. Oh and also a Bird Board Instant Messenger, where you can Instant message any of your friends on BB if they're online and have private chats while on the board.

I have all of this, so let me know, I've got other ideas too.

Keepem coming... This year is gonna be one for upgrading alot of things I hope so the board runs fast but gonna take alot more financial resources. Prob will need an even faster server to manage the pounding it gets every day.

Yep, I agree to. This site is GREAT and I have really learned SO MUCH!! from this place. I will definately be donating my share to the board after christmas. Money is a little short right now lol

I was wondering why you cant put a smiley in without having to write the smiley name out or clicking on the smiley to the right?? I sometimes cant do quick replies and add smileys without knowing the smiley name or clicking on it so I have to go to Advanced Mode which makes things slower. See if I make a smiley like this :) <---on other boards then that would be a smiley but, If I write out : smile : (no spaces) then it does this --->

I like Lissa's idea of monthly contests!! You might even be able to get donations and sponsors.

I used to run a monthly photo contest on the old board I was on.....I can run it again here.....of course the " prize" was a congratulatory post, with the winning photo posted...

I'd be happy to run it here.
