Avian Movie Stars

Who are your favourite birds in major Hollywood movies?

I loved the Carolina Parakeet in "New World", the director put in such a great effort to make them look real even though they are extinct.

Then there is the beautiful Macaw in "Pirates of the Caribbean".

Paulie of course!

The entire cast of "Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill".

The Movie "Dragonfly" with Kevin Costner.

When his wife's beloved Hyacinth Macaw sees her one night even though she's since passed on.

I have that dvd, gotta check it out. There is a new movie coming out here (Americans may have already seen it) Apocolypto which takes place in Central America, so I am sure there will be parrots in it somewhere. I'm going to see it as soon as it comes here in a couple weeks.
