Nancy, I know that you are bit upset with me, but I can assure you that Elwoodblue will be given only the best in this household. We have a 2000 square foot house with lots of room and I wouldn't harm that precious baby in any way. I listened to your advice and am working on rectifying the situation with the 'too dust. I love Elwood as does hubby; can't think of any other man that would saw down trees to bring him back home safe and sound!
By the way, I have renamed the U2 from Buckwheat to "Gandalf" after the movie "The Lord's Ring". I couldn't stand the racial name he was given................

I'm certainly NOT upset with you. I find you to be quite informed and more importantly willing to do the best thing for all concerned. Remember, I have a little TAG here and a CAG coming Monday. Its a real balancing act, but you have to do what you can.

I think that the wing clip probably brought the message home pretty clearly: its up to us to do all that we can to just keep them safe. :D

Speaking of wing trim - Gandalf was clipped yesterday. He was attempting to fly around when he got spooked, and I just couldn't have that with all the activity in this house. According to his previous family, he has never been clipped, but he let me clip with no problems. And his screaming has become less and less . Elwoodblue hasn't been screaming as much lately either. I think I finally have a handle on this screaming stuff, thank goodness!

My wonderful "baby" is doing great with ME, however, he doesn't care for hubby. He sweetly tells hubby "I love you baby" and then chases him to bite him. Not sure what to do. We have only had him a week so he is still adjusting. We did find out by accident that he loves cardboard boxes, and he plays a cute game of hide-n-seek.
As for the sun, he is completely taken with my daughter, and she is taking wonderful care of him.
