Didnt know where to post this , didnt know where to actually ask the question.

Do you purchase your Mac Nuts and other goodies and foods, online? would anyone care to share what they are feeding their Macaws & Conures and where you get your food.

I ask because the Mac Nuts in our local birdstore is $9.99 lb, if purchase online they are $7.99 plus shipping and handling, turns out they are more than $9.99 lb.

also, would love to purchase them without the shell, is that possible ?
because my bird throws more Mac Nuts than actually breaks and eats, I have a lot of waste and would love to be able to spend wisely.

Any receipes for Mac Bread for the fids?
if need be, please delete the thread or move it to where its suppose to go, im still trying to figure my way around here at times.

The Hy's at the store have big bowls of the ultimate blend also. I sure wish you could come visit! I could meet you there, and Kathie is there 6 days a week. Don is there on weekends. You can always come to my house for a rest before your drive back! They will let you have samples to see if it works for Desi before you buy big bags. I can honestly tell you they have more stuff than any other store Ive been in.

I bought Some at the local Win Co foods bulk Food Section about $6.00 lb shelled and My Macaw threw them all over the house and would not Eat them? So it is back to Peanuts for her.

We buy our mac nuts from Gold Coast on line. We have not been disappointed.
