Stuffed Parrot on Ebay
I reported this to Ebay, but it is still on there. I can't believe they actually got bids.

No!
Who would buy such a thing?!
Poor parrot, having to be a centerpiece for all to talk about. Maybe a fake bear rug but I couldn't imagine something like that being in a home. The real parrot is not tacky like a stuffed parrot. :aiwebs_00 - Jade Quote:

I guess when I read the policies the first time I missed this under the Exceptions:
Mounted specimens, feathers, and eggs of captive-bred, non-endangered non-native birds such as ostriches, emus, exotic pheasants, Mandarin ducks, guinea fowl, peafowl, and most parrots may be listed on eBay if not listed or sold in violation of state or local laws applicable to the buyer or seller I don't like it either!!!!

Though sad, it was not these people's fault that the bird was stuffed. The parrot, as a stuffed object, is an antique from the late 19th, early 20th century (late 1800's to early 1900's). They are mearly antique brokers, not animal stuffers or exploiters.

Ok, I went and looked at it and I to do not agree with Taxedermy ( spelling?). But alot of people do, this may have been a very loved part of someones family and to them it was a sign of love and respect that this was done.
This looks like one awesome bird!!! So beautiful, I can understand why they might want to keep it....BUT I could never do it, not to one of my birds, or my dog......just thought I'd say there might be a different way to look at it....I would not have thought about it as exploitation.......

eek . i agree it may have been a beloved pet that the owner could not bare to part with the bird and this may been their way of keeping the bird with them. which case they woulld be turning in their graves if they knew about their beloved pet being sold in this way i could never do though what is even more sad is the fact that people are bidding on it |
