I've seen that, I thought it was pretty cool. I wanted one for Harley for Chirstmas, but it is pretty expensive. The person also does it for horse hair. What website did you find that add? Was it www.craigslist.com?

I've done this with Smoke Firing. I tried using a Gull feather once and the feather shaft left behind creosote/tar-like residue.
I've had better results with fauna.
