Birds In Flight

Stealing another members idea (great idea btw!!! ).... if you have any photos of your birds in flight, share them! I'll see what I can dig up, but most photos I have aren't that great....

To start, Charlie...

Couple of the budgies... I've tried to get more, but they are hard to capture!

Tomi Girl... when it was EASY taking pictures of her in flight! Now though, she's too strong to take a good pic, and flies even faster than the budgies!

And here's a short video of Tomi Girl flying around the extra room... there are a couple cages 'tucked back' into the closet, with a light above them... the 'curtain' that's above/to side of the closet is never closed but I haven't taken it down since before I put the cages there...

In this one, Casey climbs down a cage and flies to my knee for scritches...

Or an older one of Casey, more or less jumping to my hand...

Wish I had better ones but I got Jazzy clipped shorter after she almost got mauled by a Catalina Macaw because she flew onto his cage (bad girl!).

I think parrots flying is one of the most amazing things to see ever! Kudos on starting this thread, Monica!

I get mostly landing pictures on Yondo for some strange reason. And if I once in a while actually GET a pic of him flying, then it's always in pretty bad quality.

Smile The Brat Birds...

1) The Fidren getting thier daily excersise....

2) Taking a break... before they are off again flying...

After a couple of more laps around the room... time to decend/land on Moma ... for lovings....

3 & 4) lovings with Moma

This happens ... at least twice a day, morning and evening .....flying laps around the room..

They have quite a bit more out of cage time, but the flying is the highlight of thier day.... other than lovins and food... ... the spoiled brats...

Gosh I'm so jealous of all of these BEAUTIFUL pics - each and every one is gorgeous. I really want to get some of Jerry and Lulu but every time I try it's just a big blur. I know one reason is that my camera is pretty poor - and the user has never been very skilled at taking decent pics

And Monica, Lulu flies faster than Jerry too - although Jerry may still need just one or two more flight feathers, I need to check when I can get a good view when he's wing stretching. But thus far, he can't catch her in flight.
