Am I the only one offended by the new RedBull Commericals....

Ok, Maybe it is me...I don't mean to be an activist at heart but......

I saw this RedBull commercial last night where a guy in a suit gets pooped on my a bird flying over. He gets it off him, then pulls out a redbull out of his suit and drinks it. Then he pulls out a sling shot and shoots the bird! The bird falls to the ground then HE KICKS IT!!!!!!!

I know it is just a commercial but come on, what is next... a dog pees on his car tire, he drinks a redbull then runs over him. Or a horse bucks him off, he drinks a redbull then he shoots him...

I have to tell you I was really really offended!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me that see this as offensive?

Lisa, it made me question what has the world coming to when we use animal abuse to promote our products...

It doesn't matter what the animal was, it was cruel to show it and to show him KICKING IT after he shot is....

Btw, I called Redbull and complained, of course I got the vm but I did leave my message!

No, you`re not the only one! I saw that one too, and at first I thought it was funny that the guy got his head pooped on, but when he SHOT it out of the sky and then KICKED it, I didn`t think it was funny anymore. It was actually disturbing, to say the least.

I hadn't seen this one, but yeah, it's really pushing the envelope as far as taste is concerned. Of course, the majority of Red Bull drinkers (young teeenaged males are the demographic targeted) aren't all that into taking care of small, fragile things such as birds, so they assumed that that level of humor would play well. It's pretty tasteless.

The last Red Bull commercial I saw a few weeks ago was sort of funny, though this commercial also trended towards the dark - a widow with two small children is sitting in the lawyer's office crying into a handkerchief while the lawyer reads out her late husband's will... which leaves his entire estate and fortune to the Anna Nicole Smith-esque blonde bimbo in the next chair, who sits back and smirks at the widow. The widow, realizing she and her children have been totally impoverished by her latehusband's mistress, grabs a Red Bull from her black purse, a club and heads toward heaven to dish out some deserved violence on the soul of the dead guy, who is day- dreaming about the blonde while sitting on a cloud. He sees the wife coming and takes off in terror.

I have the feeoig that the Red bull commercials are being written by someone else now, with a slightly different sense of humor than the original writers that started the campaign years ago. Can't stand the stuff myslef- my energy drinks come hot and Venti-sized.

the one I saw the guy did something I used to dream of!! The bird pooped on him, he drinks a Red Bull and flies over the bird and poops on him!! The whole point of "gives you wings" is to fly.

I saw that and everyone in the house got peeved at me for complaining so much! I was outraged!... "Drink red bull so you can fly and take cold blooded revenge on animals doing what's natural." That's bulldust!

I watched it from your link. I'm not real thrilled about it either. Kids see this and think its ok to do this stuff too.

Although there is this that will make you all feel better. Watch this link! It's Classic! I crack up everytime I watch it.
