One, soon to become two. :3

As for the second answer - sometimes it makes a difference whether or not hubby is, but most of the time it doesn't. (so long as he's not a bird hater). Be mindful both of what you want and what's best for the family, and be sure that although not a bird lover, he knows the rules of a bird-lover's house. My Ex-fiance did try - I'll grant him that much, but he's not much of an animal person altogether, and it just wasn't working out.

But then again, I wouldn't be myself without the birds. :)

I have 5.
3 Ringneck doves and 2 Society finches. My fiance is a closet pet person. He pretends not to like pets, but when he is with his cat... he melts. I'm not worried, he can get a bit grumpy when I give them attention but he admits to thinking they are cool and is constantly suggesting ways to make them happy.

I have one. A whiteface pearl cockatiel. My girlfriend always says she doesn't like him, yet when I'm not in the room she will take him out his cage and give him kisses.

At the moment... and I mean that... we have 4, we have Max our sun, Gilligan our Lilac Crowned Amazon and we just adopted 2 more Suns a male and female that we just couldnt let anyone seperate them. They share food, where ever one is the other one is and we just fell in love and couldnt let anyone seperate them.

Now, my husband has deside he really wants to adopt the Mini Hans Macaw that bit him in the lip over a week ago, he thinks he has it all figured out. I'm sure he does, because I have never met an animal that doesnt like him. He is kind of like that movie where the doctor could talk to animals ( I forget the name, but it was a cute movie). I guess it depends on if the Hans is still available?

So we have 4 fids, 3 large dogs, 1 bunny and one iguana. By the way what are the going zoo rates? LOL
