I have one bird, a ringnecked dove named Boo Radley, and two guinea pigs, Emmy and Greta. My boyfriend loves all three of them, although I like to think there's a special place in their little hearts just for mummy:)

I have one eclectus, Scarlett.

I have a fiance who was never a big parrot person (had a cockatiel when he was younger that he loved to pieces though) who now is shopping for a Congo Grey.

He's pretty much gone with the "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!" take on life. Either that, or Scarlett is a miracle worker. He hasn't taken a shower without her for the past year, he helps me cook her mash, helps me clean her cage, takes her out if he gets home before me, and will occasionally think to check all of her food and water bowls.

I'm not sure if he decided he likes my bird, or if he's trying to prove to me that he'll take care of the CAG when he/she comes :)
