Angry Popeye the Sailor Man

I have for many, many days been trying to tape my Dreamie singing his rendition of Popeye the Sailor. On day one, I started the recorder and waited for him to start singing. Twenty minutes later, he did and it was spectacular. However, I neglected to check the batteries. It didn't quite make it that far.

Day two began with fresh batteries and all kinds of optimism. He went through all of his morning routines and then, for reasons only apparent to him, failed to sing his theme song. By 6:00 that night, still no Popeye. I was very dissapointed. :eusa_wall

Day 3, New Year's Eve, we tried again. He was right on schedule, and sang an especially clear version. I was ecstatic! However, once again, the damn batteries were dead. GEEEEEESH!:icon_cry:

Day 4, and were are successful. Not the long version, but enough for the listener to surely be impressed by his exemplary enthusiasm and marginal singing ability. So, here I sit with my tape at the ready wondering how the heck to get it into the computer. I have a microphone, but the software causes my computer to freeze and my sound card to go haywire. I'm thinking about calling someone and playing his greatest hits hoping that they can upload the tune. Any takers?

Hey nancy! I'm not at home right now, but I would definitely be willing to tape the tune! How would we do it? I'm not too talented. I have an MP3 player that will record audio..but not sure how well it'd pick up from the telephone. Any ideas?

Ellie Mae:

None of what you've posted means a thing to me. Alas, I'm an old lady and cyber challenged. What is P2P, please?

Nancy I can always try to record it over the phone and see if it will work. It's worth a try anyway, otherwise if all else fails send me a copy of the tape and I can get it on my puter that way.
