Free flying Moluccan 'Toos in Washington

I was searching Flickr one day and came across this guy's album. I came across the photo of the M2 on the aviary roof and asked him how he gets them to come back and he said they just do. Ballsie, I say! I would never do it but I'm intrigued! He says they just ALWAYS come back. I mean, I wouldn't rely on that thought, then again their his birds (well you can read the comments below the photo)

FAR OUT! i just spent three hours on the german pair site! i feel like part of the family i especially like, imitating the crows, self feeding, and knocking on the window. what agreat site. a journal of the whole story. lots of happy stuff and plenty of drama. i cried

That was me last night! I became "one" with the site!! Got a little tough to read the broken English in SOME parts, but for the most part he did a wonderful job translating! I about cried when I read what happened to Kiri...but *pfew!* she was okay. Sounds like the man is old and ill, though. I wonder who will then take care of the fids...
