Exclamation Closing His Eye

Yousel was doing so well for the past few weeks. After an alarm clock incident last night he had another night fright. I was able to stop the bleeding from his wing (I am a PRO at that now! :eusa_clap ) but noticed that on and off throughout the day he would have his right eye open and left eye closed. I think he may have hit it last night. Is there anything that I can do to help him or will it just take care of itself? There doesnt seem to be any bruising (Do birds bruise?) He is eating and talking (oh I didnt tell you all that he know 2 whistles and how to say "Pretty Bird" and "I Love You". :icon_mrgr )

What do you think?
Lauren

Generally, you can "tell" when something is not right. If your bird normally doesn't close just one eye, there's a good chance that there may be something irritating the eye.

I'd keep a close eye on him and if the behavior continues or there is a definite physical change, I'd get him to his vet. Have you tried calling the vet and talking to him to see what you might need to look for/do? I'd be scared to take a chance....a one eyed bird is not a good thing!
