Cool Blue & Gold Macaw

I have a 11 month blue & gold macaw. We hand fed him and brought him home in May. Ozzy is tame and we love him to death. Of course we handle him most of the day.

We have one problem with him that we can't seem to work through. He insists to remove our glasses. We never make a big deal about it but we can't seem to break him from this habit.

Any suggestions?

My ringies love my glasses too. Fortunately they can be tempted with something else. Unfortunately, it is the earrings and my ears! Seriously, diversion is the only tactic that has worked for me. Magellan loves nail files, and Lola is still amused by most anything (briefly), so I can shift the focus and try to encourage that behavior. Think they see the reflection of themselves and it piques their interest
