I went to my aunt's holiday house for a weekend and she is terrified of birds and said "NO WAY your bringing a bird here!" thinking it will fly at her and attack her and scream at her. ... I couldnt leave poor Ash at home- so I took her with me...
WELL my aunty absolutely fell in love with Ash and even had her on her shoulder! Ash would roll over and play with her toys and eat grapes and get food on her beak- all the while charming the "bird hater." lololol. She didntthink birds could cuddle either! That information should be more widespread!!!

hahaha! oh boy! If only people would stop and listen to themselves sometime.
I think it's great that you are getting a bird for your son, but of course I'm a bit biased. It'll definitely be a good learning experience for him as he learns to care for another creature and learns how to appropriately interact with his bird.

And I can't say my friends ever question me... they have just accepted the fact that I love birds and that's how it's going to be. I'm the crazy bird girl to all the people that know me.
