Thank you everyone!

I have bought and sold on EBay so feel pretty comfortable with that. I also had seen the people putting all their money on the shipping.

I totally agree with supporting our local business' and in fact the one and only dedicated bird store is where we buy all of our food and this will be our 2nd bird now. But if I can save $200 on a cage then I need to do that.

I just need to find the time now to hang out at Ebay and see what they have this week. Thanks again! It was nice to know some of you have also bought cages that way.

No local bird show here until late March. Need it next week!!

I bought Beans' cage from eBay (I think the seller was BirdToyMan), and couldn't be happier. I got it for $250; here's a picture of it from the BirdsComfort.com site.

I (and Beans) couldn't be happier.

Referance and feedback is the key. I've had good luck even with returning something that wasnt what I expected.

We bought a play stand off of ebay, it was actually better than expected, didn't cost a lot either.

I bought all my cages and a parrot tower from e-bay. I saved a bundle and got frre shipping too. I have also bought lots of bird toys and parts. I have not had any problems yet. I always look at the sellers history, ratings, etc. and I use paypal.
