Skin tags on birds?

I noticed yesterday that Zen (the lovebird) has what looks like a skin tag in the fold of her leg where it meets her belly. Of course, it's easy to see since she's naked as a chicken! She has a vet appointment on Friday to look at it and get her annual exam at the same time, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Yeah Daisy had one & the vet removed it. In her case it was from a burn caused from the handfeeder & than not removing the crusted formula. So she must have developed it from the folicle irritation.

It was on her cheek and it took awhile for the feathers to grow back. We really didn't know if she would grow them back but she did.
