Zen does not have a skin tag

She had a weird ball of fuzz and/or feathers that had twined around a feather follicle. The vet was able to pluck it out with tweezers. It almost looked like a spider egg - weird. Well, she needed her annual anyway.

She did great - all her blood work was right on and no bacteria in the poop sample. The only thing was that he couldn't get a good protein reading because of the fat in the blood sample from eggs, but he's not worried about it. She also has a small hemotoma on her beak (from trying to break out of the cage) that has to grow out. Dr. Sakas said sometimes they are a sign of liver problems, but he highly doubts that after looking at her blood sample. If she gets another one then he wants to see her again, otherwise hopefully she won't have to go back for a year.
