Question Bird seeds/treats

I was just wondering how long a bag of bird seeds or treats would keep. (if not opened) Anyone know?

I would think a really long time ( like a year? I could be wrong.), esp. if you keep it in the fridge. Does it not have an experation date somewhere? (sometimes they're hard to find)

See I ask this because I won't be bringing my TAG home until 4-6 months after he/she is hatched. I have tons of toys bought. So I thought about stocking up on treats and seeds at some point. But I just wasn't sure if I should or not. Just trying to think of things to help pass the time. . . . :)

it depends on your humidity> (sorry< i did somthin to my keyboard and my shift key wont work properly< cant make a piriod or a comma) mold and bactira will grow if its damp> i dont have that problem here in utah> you can leave out chip and crackers< and they never go limp or get soggy< but i keep my seed in the freezer> ya never know what tiny thing might grow>
