Thank you Kathie and Bird Paradise!

The cage is awesome! I am just wowed!
I have never seen an A&E cage before and I think they are beautiful! Very well made and the design is stunning!

Maxi was wowed also. I let her on and in to explore but we still have some work to do with platforms and perches. I will feed her on the top opening from now on. Maxi and I thought the toys were really cool also! She can't wait to rip up the basket toy!
Thank you so much!!
Lynda and Maxi

BTW excuse my pictures. I had an off day and seemed to be tilting a lot LOL
Pictures: Maxi and her cage
My husband and son putting the cage together and then realizing they put the door in the back! They had to take it apart and redo it.

Oh, that makes me so happy! Maxi looks lost! Don't forget the "seed guards" - they really help. Did they remember to send the toys with the cage?

Maxi does not eat seed though LOL No we have the guards but had to take them off to get the cage through the door ( another duh moment LOL).
The toys are perfect. Maxi thought the basket one was really wicked. I am stealing the ticket idea from the one toy. That is smart! My blue crown loves toys wih paper or cardboard. Being in a bird club there is no shortage of loose raffle tickets.

Won't that be nice. I am getting tennis elbow scrubbing grates with a toothbrush every day. I have a wonderful helper that just comes in to clean but you have to do a few cages every day to keep up with them all.
Right now we have 9 cages to maintain, one with four quakers in it.

My Caique and GC Conure love that ticket toy. One of their faves! I'm so glad Maxi is happy. She does look so lost in the cage. Is she sleeping in it yet?

No she si not sleeping in it yet but will be by Tuesday. I need to finish putting in perches and my hubby is supposed to be making a platform today. I don't think she is as lost in it as just awed by it. No one in the rescue has ever had a cage as big as that. All the birds are awed and Sammy is just plain jealous. He keeps running over and hopping in LOL As with any quaker they see what they want and take it! After a few days Max will be all over it. It took her just five seconds of sitting on the top before she wanted to go inside and explore. She knows it is hers.

WOW!!! I can't believe I missed this. What's the story behind it? You go, Maxi!
