the pasta is always fine for them... valo loves them with a little bit of tomato sauce... i make my sauce from scratch (one of the few things that i cook ) and i keep it very veggie-sided.... if she doesn't eat a whole lot of sauce it should be fine for her even with the sauce.... if she likes it, i'd go through the hoops to cook it myself and keep the salt out (can be added later)

as far as meetballs go... generally it's fine to give a little bit of meat, but i don't feed them all that much meat... i'd keep them out, since she's gonna have a lot of fun just with the pasta as it is....

Whole grain pasta is always a favorite at my house! They like the red sauce but prefer it plain, I make a batch and refridgerate it and feed it to them over about 3 days, just toss a few in with veggies. Mine only like the spiral shape though.

The sauce might be high in sodium. . . that'd be no good. Check the label. :)

Jasmine LOVES spaghetti with tomato (red) meat sauce!

I do believe all those Chef Boyaredee (or whatever lol) are high in sodium, so it's good you washed the sauce off! However the pasta might also be high in sodium as well. I just bought Jasmine a box of whole grain spiral pasta, I'm going to fix something up tonight with it!

Havent tried Barnaby on pasta yet, but did the silly thing of letting him try my ice cream! Now he squawks his head off if he sees me eating it until i let him have a nibble! He's an ice cream freak!

Pasta

Hi!

folks, pasta is OK in MODERATION.....
keep in mind there are sugars in pasta --- that's why us humans - get fat!

Also, NO tomato sauce! WAYY too much sodium and WAYYY too much acididity.....

Hope this helps, your bird will live longer....

or the carbohydrates, or the fat in the sauce... pasta is actually not that bad for humans, it's mainly the stuff you eat WITH it that makes you fat....

anyways... agreed @ moderation.... i make my own tomato sauce and make sure that i don't add much salt so valo can have a taste
