Some say yes, others say no... because captivity is not like living in the wild.... If they lived outside there would be more of an influance of weather, climate, sun, etc on birds and breeding... however being in captivity, the main influance to breeding is the amount of light they get each day.... that thus can be changed drastically when we leave lights on well after dusk thus making them think it's longer days...
