Steam Cleaned the cage!!

Got the steamer out today, and gave Pita's cage a really good steam cleaning. I usually wipe it down everyday, or every other day, but thought it was time to hit with steam. I got the steamer before I had Pita, glad to know it's gonna come in handy.

and here's another pic of him, just for the heck of it...lol...look at those drum sticks...!

I took his toys out, left the perches, took it outside, and let it rip. The steam gets all the gunk that accumulates in the nooks & granny's....and you can use it on the perches because it's not really wet. And also I think the heat kills any bacteria that may be building up.

The heat may kill some bacteria, but not enough, we still use our GSE first then steam them off. I love ours, we have been using it on cages for 3 years now!

It's sort of like this, but not this brand

It comes with different attachments, and you just put the water in it, and plug it in. I got mine at Home Depot for like a special price of $19.99
