Talking More then just watching...

Abbie has said phrases and words that I have not taught her.
I know she picked them up from Noggin (pre-school) TV programming.
This morning I was chatting with her and she said.."Lots Of Luck"!
She didn't hear that from me! She says a few other odd phrases that we do not use.
One day after a "free preview" from sattellite TV my husband gently reprimanded her for screeching (I know, it does no good) she said, and I quote:
"STOP IT, D---it!" She got down off of the toy she was swinging on, hopped up to her perch, looked my husband right in the eye and said that!
I hid my face in a pillow and laughed so hard! No one talks to Papa that way!! :o)
He laughed too.
:o)

Skye my eclectus loves to watch "sesame street" and "elmo's world". She watches most of the kidie stuff, but I noticed she is more animated during the sesame street stuff. She was watching a scary kids series that was on ABC TV not long after I got her (3 weeks actually) and she was making noises like she was scared during the scary bits!!! Was she really watching or was it coincidence?? The teenagers were watching it with her. (She was 4 months old when I got her, so it was not something she was taught else where and is going on 9 months old now).

Tiki my bird is not addicted to "Days of our Drearies" (as my friends call it) lol. In my much younger days she probably could have been, but I basically have the TV on in the mornings for Caillean (2 year old) and late afternoons for 3 teenagers. Oh I must admit, I like Dr Phil too.
