My vet feels that the wheeze is most likely from being intubated, where some scar tissue has maybe built up. He said the noise is only on the exhale. So for now, he is going the path of "least resistance" and I am to watch him closely and we are going back in 2 weeks for complete labs. He also said his heart beat is very low for a lory and somewhat irregular and he wants to just "leave him be" and let him heal from the surgery. I think I'm ok with that. Little Bit did run all over the house last night, wheeze and all, and he hasn't done that in a very long time.

scar tissue will build up in the airways from having the tubes there. Specially if they do it more then once.
