Let us know how the trip went! Once they get used to having nails and wings done...you may be able to do it yourself at home. It helps to get them used to the cutting first, then having you handle their wings/toes, then make small attempts yourself.
I started off by cutting 1 nail then a few days later cutting 1 more...now we're at pretty much finishing all nails before they get fed up with me and start fighting it.
