Pitas off to the vet

Just made an appointment with the vet to get his nails, claws, talons, whatever you call them, clipped! They are so sharp, and my little poopsicle likes to climb around under my shirt, I have scratches everywhere! Need to get him wieghed as well.

Let us know how the trip went! Once they get used to having nails and wings done...you may be able to do it yourself at home. It helps to get them used to the cutting first, then having you handle their wings/toes, then make small attempts yourself.

I started off by cutting 1 nail then a few days later cutting 1 more...now we're at pretty much finishing all nails before they get fed up with me and start fighting it.

Best of luck to Pita -- I hope that he does well at the vet's office :)

Good luck you two! I hate doctor's appointments. I get very nervous!! I actually schedule them for Mondays so my boyfriend can take me. That's his day off
