Surrounded by jungle now for the gym...

So I just returned home from my trip to visit my aunt in Roatan Honduras. She has a group of birds that she brings inside for their daily routine out of their cages while the rest of them have been well trained and spend their days in the bushes outside next to the house. Anyway, she didn't have space for all 5 of them to come in at once and wanted something that went a little more with the "decor". Since her house is surrounded by jungle we decided to bring a little inside. This is what we built the day before I came home.

So now Lover Boy, Mia, Ruidoso, Chips, and Bob all have plenty of space as well as plenty to do (as foraging toys can easily be changed daily). They were really enjoying themselves. We were tying nuts and veggies in the long strands of cotton and they had just finished demolishing everything. It was quite fun to watch. I wish I could have brought one of those tree branches home for my own fids.

Salsa will be coming home this weekend. I will post pictures as soon as I get her home. I won't have use of my husband's truck until this weekend when he isn't working. That is why the wait to get her. I am having trouble sitting still knowing that the time for her to come home is drawing so near.

Welcome home Salsa. It was great meeting you while you were here on Roatan. Thanks also for your help at the bird preserve. Are you going to post pics? Also can´t wait to see pics of Salsa when you get him home. Are you freezing your butts off? Just to rub it in a little... it was 80 degrees at 6:00 tonight. Sorry, just couldn´t resist...
