Wow that's funny! I'm wondering why she thinks it's her egg?! She doesn't really attack me all that bad when I go to grab for it, so that's good future reference, I suppose...

It is instinct so I say yes that is exactly what she is doing. But my male does it to one of his toys to. HMMMMM!! Kind of makes you think. Do the males have a part in sitting on the egg in the wild??

My lovebird Monkey does the same thing. Once he catches the ball, tries to stand on it. Maybe it is a form of exercise too?
